The Nintendo Switch game, Super Mario Odyssey, is a 3D platformer adventure where Mario travels across diverse worlds to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser's wedding plans. Explore expansive 3D kingdoms filled with secrets and surprises, including costumes for Mario and numerous ways to interact with the varied environments, such as driving vehicles that utilize the Joy-Con controller's HD Rumble feature or exploring sections as Pixel Mario.

Thanks to his new companion, Cappy, Mario has acquired brand-new moves for players to master, including the cap throw, cap jump, and capture abilities. With the capture mechanic, Mario can take control of a wide range of objects and enemies.

The game supports 2-player simultaneous play and has been rated for Cartoon Violence and Comic Mischief by the ESRB. It falls under the Action and Platformer genres.

Venture into astonishing new locales, like the skyscraper-filled New Donk City, and encounter familiar friends and foes as you strive to save Princess Peach from Bowser's sinister wedding plans.

At launch, a set of three new amiibo figures - Mario, Princess Peach, and Bowser in their wedding attire - will be released. Additionally, some previously released amiibo will be compatible with this title. Scanning supported amiibo can provide gameplay assistance, and in some cases, unlock costumes for Mario.
